Agreements allow
us to provide you with a comprehensive “systems solution” approach to your
construction needs. Dow Corning® brand products have been the industry
standard in construction for years. By combining the forces of our own
distribution network with leading manufacturers like Sto Corp., we can offer
construction professionals quality and convenience in one simple package.
How will this agreement benefit contractors?
You will have improved
access to the best products and support in the business – especially in regard
to EIFS projects – all backed by the ease and assurance of a single source
warranty.
What do you mean by “single source” warranty?
The
warranty to the customer will be issued and administered by Sto but will cover
both the Sto products and Dow Corning products used in the
cladding or restoration system.
Can I buy the Dow Corning sealants from my current Dow Corning
distributor and Sto cladding materials from a Sto distributor and still
receive the single source warranty?
Your Dow Corning and Sto
distributors have an established procedure in place to handle warranty
administration. They can provide you with more details about any warranty
processing requirements for this kind of situation.
Will Dow Corning also offer a single source warranty?
No, Sto will
issue the warranty and administer the program.
Will Sto distributors sell any other Dow Corning products?
No. Our
current program will allow Sto distributors to sell only the products
mentioned below.
