What is Analytical Solutions relationship to Dow Corning?
Analytical Solutions is Dow Corning's global corporate analytical research group. We have been providing analytical testing to support Dow Corning research, development, application, and manufacturing efforts for over 60 years. In 2001 Analytical Solutions began offering our services and expertise externally.

What is meant by global capabilities?
Dow Corning Corporation is a multinational company operating from the majority of continents and countries. Our Analytical laboratories in Belgium, China, Japan, United Kingdom, and United States are strategically located to meet the needs of our customers worldwide. Do you have a price list?
Prices relate to customers' individual requirements and hence can vary based on the type of testing required, turnaround time needed, and the number of samples you have. Please contact us or call one of our global locations for a quote.

What are your payment terms?
Terms are net 30 days from the date of the invoice.

What methods of payment do you accept?
A purchase order or major credit card and completion of a service request form (PDF size = 50 KB) is required before testing commences. We accept major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, and American Express).

Do you have a quality policy?

What quality registrations do you have?
Our global laboratories are registered to ISO9001:2000 (PDF size = 730 KB) (BSI, certificate FM10734).

How do you handle confidentiality and data management?
Your interactions with our lab and the data we generate on your behalf are considered customer confidential unless you state otherwise. Only personnel within our Analytical group have access to your data. Data is maintained in a secure scientific data management system for up to 8 years unless you specify otherwise. Please refer to our terms and conditions in the quote document for more information.

What is your standard turn around time?
Standard turn around time is 8-10 business days. Faster turnaround times can be arranged but may incur additional charges.

Note: Method development and feasibility studies may take longer; timeframe will be communicated in the proposal.

How are results reported?
We typically e-mail results in a standard report template that includes a summary of findings, experimental information, a statement of accuracy and precision, and applicable spectra, images, tables, etc. We are flexible and can report results based on your specific needs.
