As electronic devices continue to pack more power into smaller components,
temperature control has become one of the critical design challenges: how to
efficiently remove the increasing amount of heat generated by greater power
densities, despite shrinking architectures and smaller operating spaces. This
article discusses the use of emerging thermal greases to address this issue.
